Dr Starling takes the audience on a journey that addresses: the advances in chemotherapy treatments over the past 2 decades, the impact of targeted therapies, and the relatively new area of checkpoint inhibitors. She summarises many of the negative clinical trial results and highlights emerging areas of clinical research in advanced/metastatic gastric and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer.
