Dr Elizabeth Smyth

Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton, UK

Elizabeth Smyth graduated from University College Dublin in 2002 and underwent her initial medical oncology training in Ireland. She completed a 2-year fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and is now a Clinical Research Fellow working with Professor David Cunningham in the Gastrointestinal (GI) Unit of The Royal Marsden Hospital, London. Dr Smyth's main interest is developing effective new drugs for GI malignancies.
