Dr Chiara Cremolini

Chiara Cremolini is Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at the University of Pisa. Following a degree in Medicine in 2008 and a specialization in Medical Oncology in 2014 at the University of Pisa, she entered the PhD program in Clinical Phisiopathology. She is mainly committed to the clinical management of patients affected by gastrointestinal malignancies and is involved in clinical and translational research projects in the field of colorectal oncology. She is the Scientific Secretary of the cooperative no-profit GONO group. As a translational interest, she is especially involved in the identification of potential molecular predictors of benefit from systemic treatments. She has co-authored about 80 peer-reviewed publications mainly regarding colorectal cancer and has received merit awards at the following meetings: 2010 “Markers in Cancer” ASCO-EORTC-NCI, 2011 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress; 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting; 2013 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium; 2013 European CanCer Organisation (ECCO) Congress; 2014 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium; 2014 ESMO Congress; 2015 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium.
