As a program director for the International Symposium in Colorectal Disease, it is my distinct personal pleasure to send my gratitude for the overwhelming participation in the first Symposium and also would like to welcome you all to our next Symposium in Phuket, Thailand during December 5th - 7th, 2015.

Wexner and Professor Mariana Berho, we have structured comprehensive scientific programs, which includes all the state-of-the-art and up-to-date technologies, knowledge, controversies, innovations and new surgical techniques in colorectal surgery as well as the updates in the relating disciplines. The delegates will find this Symposium the best way to progress in merging our expertise with allied fields so as to produce optimal results for our patients. Many world-renowned colorectal surgeons who have been acclaimed as the experts in each particular topic will be here to deliver a comprehensive hands-on workshop, live surgeries, interactive lectures, panel discussions, and multidisciplinary symposiums.
• Multidisciplinary approach to colorectal cancer

The pre-symposium session will be including life surgeries, hands-on workshop, scientific paper and video presentations. The best young presenter will also be granted our "Young Investigator Award".
Apart from a gorgeous Phuket environment during the most beautiful time of the year and a touch of Thai hospitality, this biannual International Symposium in Colorectal Disease will prove to be a wonderful opportunity for Colorectal Surgeons from all over the world to get together, learn from each other, and exchange knowledge and experience. During this high season in Phuket, I also would like to extend our warm invitation to all the delegates’ family to come and enjoy Phuket’s natural fantasies, cultures and foods as it has been well-known as one of the world best tourist destinations.
